John Hummel - Photographer
My greatest joy has been the opportunity to share with others that which is right and beautiful with the world through my images. My photographic work has helped me to see the “extraordinary in the ordinary” to quote the master photographer, Dewitt Jones. It has opened a portal into a deep appreciation of the true sacredness of all life.

Lisa Johnson - Pencil Artist
Hillary McLean - Painter
Stephen Meier - Flute Maker
"Okay, there is the brown trailer with all the cars, only about a mile to go before the Bramson Mail Box." I had driven about two and a half hours to get to the area where the sweat lodge was to take place. I saw the mailbox and then Clarissa sitting on a rail fence playing what seemed to be a flute. “It is a flute”, she said, a Native American Style Flute. The sound was so sweet and mellow yet very haunting. The song seemed to take me back to a time that I could remember in my body but not my mind.

Tammy worked with several different mediums while studying art in college and enjoys trying new techniques when drawing. She was inspired to illustrate The Quiet Lion after reading an early version of the story. "I like to get to know the characters by reading the story before I sit down to start sketching anything. I can add little quirky details with expressions or hand gestures once I get an overall feel for their personality."
